About Me
Darcey Clarke
I’m Darcey, an award winning hair stylist with a serious passion for hair! Located at The Stables Hair & Makeup, the beautiful salon in the heart of the Staffordshire countryside.
With over 7 years in the hair industry I’ve crafted my skills to master cutting, colouring, styling, barbering, extension services and wedding hair.
On my days away from being behind the chair, you’ll find me working down in London. Often
entering national competitions, working on iconic events such as London Fashion Week or behind the scenes of the photoshoot for a big name magazine.

Award winning hair stylist in Staffordshire
One of my biggest interests outside of salon work is competing in national hair competitions.
At the age of 18 I was named ‘Junior of the Year’ at the British Business Hairdressing Awards, since then my hunger to win has only grown stronger.
I’m currently working with my amazing mentor, the legendary Errol Douglas MBE. With over 40 years in the hair world, Errol has been my guide to success both in and out of the salon. My adventures with him have only just started, so watch this space…
EDUCATION
Constantly striving to improve
I believe that the best hairdressers never stop learning, that’s why over the past few years of my time in the industry I strived to constantly educate myself further.
Since 2016 I’ve been a member of the prestigious Fellowship of British Hairdressing. The Fellowship has opened many doors for me and been an amazing foundation in my career. In 2019 I was apart of The Club Star Art Team, an art team run by The Fellowship for young and up and coming hairdressers. In that year I was educated by some of the very best in the industry.
This then led to a year on the Schwarzkopf Collective Art Team. I was one of six members from across the UK to represent Schwarzkopf Professional. In that year on the team I worked on so many once in a lifetime opportunities and learnt so much, from photoshoots at the infamous Rankin Studios in London to performing on stage at the UK’s largest hair event! My time on the team was amazing to say the least!

Colouring
Please note that all colour services require a patch test for new clients or clients that haven’t had their hair coloured for over 6 months. An additional charge may be added based on hair length, thickness and product usage.
